The final eyelet count on this dress was 44–18 in front and 13 on each side-back. I used pink linen thread purchased at the same time as the fabric, which I then waxed to make it easier to sew with. They eyelets are arranged for spiral lacing, and were done using a tailor’s awl to avoid too much damage to the fibers.
